silentsmack asked: The only problems I see with the nominations were Puss In Boots. I highly enjoyed Rango and Kung Fu Panda and Chico & Rita was one of the most engaging animated features I've seen in this year. But they could've easily replaced Puss In Boots with Tin Tin or Arthur Christmas. Easily.

I admit, I myself think that KFP 2 should've been nominated instead of Puss In Boots, but have you seen Puss In Boots? I haven't. I'm not judging. Cars 2, the animation was great, but the story? Not the best by Pixar. KFP...

I think Cars 2 was a bit of a step back- especially considering all the notions espoused in "A Pixar Story" about telling new stories to kids AND adults.
