Woody yearns to be part of Andy’s life at every step of the way. In the first Toy Story, Buzz is a delusional space toy who yearns to be a real life astronaut. Atta and Flick are both the male and female versions of characters yearning to prove themselves to their community at large, and also to themselves. Jessie yearns to be loved again. Stinky Pete yearns to be appreciated, even if...

tardis-everlark asked: Hey! I noticed that you reblogged that Pixar filmography multiple times, and a lot of people have been commenting on its inaccuracy. I wanted to point out that it's intended as a joke about how a lot of people assume all CG movies are Pixar, not as a serious filmography. That's why it's called "Pixar's filmography according to your average shmoe" rather than simply...

imbollyandiknowit asked: Neither Pixar or Disney would be the same today if not for each other. Disney had the influence to get Pixar's work distributed when they were a no name studio. On the other hand, Pixar's influence has revitalized Disney after all that Eisner screwed up. Lasseter is now overseeing both studios as well as Imagineering at the parks. The two of them are better off together and while I...

abovetherabbithole asked: I agree with you. Calling Pixar films Disney, is like calling Touchstone Picture films Disney. Or calling DreamWorks films Paramount. Just because Disney owns them doesn't mean people can call them by their parent companies. They are still their own individual company with their own studios.
